Shared CPU: Best for small apps, testing, or background tasks — starting at just $8/month.

Dedicated CPU: Ideal for production systems needing consistent performance, full isolation, and support for powerful workloads.

Choose Your Support Level

Select between Basic, Semi-Managed, or Fully Managed support.

From hands-off to fully-managed — you’re in control of how much we assist.

Learn more about each support level
  • Basic: For dev/test environments and self-managed users. No monitoring or backups included.
  • Semi-Managed: Includes monitoring, backups (with related services), and First Responder support. Better SLA than Basic.
  • Fully Managed: Includes Lifecycle Manager for patching, emergency support line, and the best SLA. Ideal for critical environments.

Add Services

Supercharge your infrastructure with automated backups, real-time monitoring, domain names, SSL certificates, and CloudShield security — all on demand.

Cloud Compute

Balanced performance with Intel CPUs & SSD. Ideal for low-traffic websites, development environments, or simple applications.

High Frequency

Optimized for fast response. Great for WordPress, CMS, and small web apps needing faster I/O with >3GHz CPU & NVMe.

High Performance

For heavier workloads like staging e-commerce sites or resource-hungry apps. Uses Xeon/EPYC with NVMe SSDs.

General Purpose

Balanced CPU, RAM, and fast NVMe SSD. Great for versatile apps, control panels (like WHM/Plesk), or general workloads.

CPU Optimized

High CPU power for compute-heavy tasks — like Java apps, CI/CD, APIs, and game servers.

Memory Optimized

Ideal for memory-hungry apps — such as Redis, in-memory DBs, or large analytics workloads.

Storage Optimized

Extra storage for file servers, archiving, large datasets — with solid CPU & RAM.

Got Questions? We’ve Got You Covered.

Who provides the infrastructure behind Nubius Cloud Hosting?

We’re proud partners of Vultr, one of the most trusted cloud providers in the world.

All our servers run on Vultr’s infrastructure giving you high availability, modern CPUs, NVMe SSDs, and global reach from their top-tier data centers.

Cloud hosting runs your workload on a pool of compute and storage drawn from a cluster of physical hosts rather than one fixed machine. Compute is abstracted by a hypervisor and data sits on distributed block storage, so an instance can be restarted on another node with its volumes intact. Capacity is provisioned via API and billed by consumption.

Shared, VPS, dedicated, and cloud. Shared puts many sites on one OS instance with per account resource caps. VPS gives you a hypervisor partitioned slice with root access, capped by the one host it sits on. Dedicated assigns an entire bare metal server to you. Cloud pools resources across a cluster with distributed storage, so instances scale and relocate independently of any host. Managed versus unmanaged is a separate axis defining who owns patching, monitoring, and incident response.

Three reasons: failure isolation, elasticity, and reproducibility. Because state lives on replicated storage rather than local disk, host failure becomes a restart rather than a restore, cutting recovery time from hours to minutes. Capacity scales vertically or horizontally without a hardware migration, and snapshots plus infrastructure as code let you rebuild an identical environment for staging, DR, or a second region on demand.

It depends on your utilization curve. For variable or unpredictable demand it is cheaper, because you are not paying to keep peak capacity idle. For steady, high utilization workloads a dedicated server often wins on raw compute, though reserved capacity and savings plans close most of that gap in exchange for a one or three year term. The costs usually underestimated are egress, snapshot retention, provisioned IOPS, load balancers, and per core licensing.

Billing splits into compute per second or hour, block storage per GB per month, outbound transfer per GB, and any management fee. A 2 vCPU, 4 GB general purpose instance runs around 30 US dollars per month on demand, and a 4 vCPU, 16 GB instance near 0.19 US dollars per hour. Block storage typically falls between 0.06 and 0.17 US dollars per GB per month. Current rates by family and region are on the Amazon EC2 on demand pricing page. Right sizing, commitment coverage, and egress volume drive the bill more than the headline rate.

It depends on the workload. Dedicated servers still win on sustained CPU, direct attached NVMe latency, per socket database licensing, and flat predictable billing with no egress meter. Cloud wins on variable demand, fast rebuilds, high availability across separate failure domains, and programmable infrastructure. Most mature estates end up hybrid, with a stable database tier on bare metal and application, cache, and batch tiers in the cloud.

Shared web hosting is adequate for brochure sites and low traffic applications on a standard stack. Cloud hosting becomes necessary once you need root access, custom runtimes, containers, private networking between tiers, or isolation for compliance. It is also the requirement for any defined recovery point and recovery time objective, since shared plans offer a nightly backup and no failover path, and for teams running CI/CD or staged releases.

Yes. Choose Semi-Managed or Fully Managed support and we’ll assist with setups like WordPress, control panels (WHM, Plesk), databases, or even clusters.

Or you can always go with our Custom Projects for one time deployments or OpsAssist to get support by the hour.

We’re here to get you running.

Absolutely. Through our Nubius Cloud Hub, we can provision a custom, private environment using Vultr’s infrastructure including load balancers, firewalls, storage, backups, and networking tailored to your needs.

You get the control and flexibility of a private cloud without the overhead.

Yes, if you need object storage, additional locations, high availability, or advanced networking, we can enable any Vultr service under your Nubius plan.

Think of us as your full-stack cloud provider, backed by Vultr’s infrastructure.
